Almost a return to normal at Sutton, July 3 -1.30 start

Forgive this brief reminder but it’s 42 degrees centigrade on Crete and my head keeps falling on to the keyboard. Scorchin’!

The Barnard Trophy is going ahead at Sutton on Saturday, July 3 with access to all the facilities of the club and refreshments provided. It’s still very helpful if you can let Dave or me know if you will be attending and in what capacity.

It looks as if it was hot in September 1933 at White City. Tommy Green being cooled down during his attack on the 8 hours record. Tommy Richardson just behind.

And to add that the deadline for your June 3 kilometres time trial clockings is midnight, Friday, July 2nd. Additional comments about your effort gratefully received.
