This should be a great day. Brass band on the green – my dad, Alf of both the Bedford Church band and Lancashire Walking Club would have been chuffed, spurred on to a PB, I reckon. As consolation for missing the Fred Pearce relay I will be in Kirkby Fleetham , in what shape remains to be seen. All being well I’ll give it a go in the 10k. More importantly I’ll be on the roadside, cheering on our team in the NARWA 35k, where we will be defending our title. Hope to see you there.
