ALLISON TROPHY, CHORLEY, MARCH 4

Bill McFadden
Roy Gunnett reports:
We had an excellent turnout of 19 for this event – including guests from as far north as Glasgow and as far south as Brighton.
The weather had calmed down somewhat following storm Doris on Thursday.
Adrian and Bill McFadden had a close battle for most of the race until near the end when Bill pulled away strongly to win. Glyn just piped Dan to take third place.
Irene had a great race and easily won the Allison Trophy handicap prize .

Irene Pike
We were all delighted to see John and Jane Pouncy returning to competition following the motorcycle accident they had last year.

Weather cold (5deg)….windy…..wet .including hail stone at one stage….sun for about 5 mins. All in all poor conditions for racing……but we did well to finish a team. At least 50% of the field received at least one red card.
