Virtual League Racing Series – Race 27: still in the forefront

Thanks to everyone competing in the Virtual 2k Series for keeping the club in the forefront of those supporting this much needed venture. It looks certain that Helen and John will continue the Series through the autumn and winnter months. In this case I hope we can sustain our collective involvement.

More information to follow in the next few days but we are proposing that we continue also our own Club Virtual Series through the autumn and winter using a standard distance each month of 3 kilometres.

In addition look out for details of a series of Time Trials, which Trevor and Linda McDermot are organising at Kirkby Fleetham in the coming months – a great venue, see below the photo taken by Linda.

I have no plans on stopping the league this year. Perhaps it may finish with the resumption of the normal race calendar in early 2021.
